When, as a child, watching the "World of War", and seeing the rise of fascism culminating in 'The Second Great Global Disagreement', I could not believe that as an adult, I'd see a similar pattern in a previously democratic and liberal country.

So, little update : French politics are in chaos. Extrem right did 31.5+5.5+1+1% (yeah, we have 2 extrem right parties above 5 points).

Macron, in his continuing "big fight against extrem right" (which lifted it from ~15% to ~40% in 7 years, big big success - plus if anybody had any doubts about what a "center" capitalist party is actually about...) took an extrem decision : he dissolved French assembly, which leads to a new election for French assembly in 3 weeks.

So people, get ready for that remake of the previous twenties, with France as the main protagonist in place of Germany, and a new flavor of fascism in Europe.

Fuck Macron. And fuck people voting extrem right, whatever their bad reasons for it.

Blue, White, Red, France for the French! The militant extreme right took to the streets of Lyon to demonstrate last night!

This is a move seen in other cities where these fascist hooligans walk in neighborhoods to "protect" the "French", I have not seen any documented abuse of citizens by them but read that they harassed and verbally and physical attacked people of color as well as any Muslim or north African they met during their "protective" march.

These are scary scenes that bring back the fear of the rise of #fascism in #Europe, 100 years ago.

Let's hope that the story doesn't repeat itself!

We need to fight them in every corner and prevent them from acting like they stand for law and order!
