We are deadly seriousThere is a town called Clowne in Derbyshire. Was in the area and spotted a sign for Clowne School so went to take a look for a photo, but it had been closed and there was no sign on the building saying 'Clowne School'.

In Seattle in the 1990s, the local Pat Cashman KOMO radio show had a bit about ridiculous town slogans.
I still hear it in my nightmares.
"Bring your butt to Kenmore!"
(Kenmore is a shabby suburb of Seattle, sorry if you live in Kenmore.)
FYI, Pat Cashman is the "radio" guy from "Almost Live!", the local Seattle comedy improv show. -
