Released as a #single by #RickyNelson in February 1959, it subsequently reached number 3 in the UK, number 9 on the #Billboard Hot 100, and number 30 on the #RAndBChart that year. The song is featured on the 1959 album #RickySingsAgain. It was re-released on a compilation album by Imperial Records in 1980. "It's Late" is ranked number 74 on Billboard magazine's #Top100 songs of 1959.

I have an Italian Ricky Nelson 7" 45 BLOOD FROM A STONE / SO LONG matrix number Imperial C - 35131 (also on run-out) that isn't listed on Discogs and which I can't find any info on. Anyone out there got any further info?
