Incineroar makes me mad. He's a wrestler, but he's weak to fighting moves. He's an anthro but with weird rubbery body proportions to make it less obvious. He can't wear actual gear, so his faux belt is made of flames that add noise to the design. Fortunately we have furry artists to fix him.
Sorry for the rant Incineroar fans, but I feel like Incineroar is a pretty wishy-washy design stuck between two schools of thoughts. Too simple to inspire awe and too complex to be memorable. A pretty big aspect of early Pokémon success was the simplicity of the designs and the fact an actual child could redraw them on his school notebook, and they would be still recognizable.
I get that you can't preserve this philosophy for every new Pokémon, especially with 3D models and their flaccid attempts to look good on modern hardware, but Incineroar really sits in the middle. #rickleone #incineroar #dominant #pokemon #wrestler #tiger -
