Am Sonntag war Hugo #Rickert|s 13. Todestag.

#HugoRickert war ein regional sehr bekannter Rahmenbauer, der vor allem Rennräder, Crosser und Bahnräder aus Stahl baute. Er machte sich 1950 in #Dortmund selbstständig und baute bis Anfang 2002 Rahmen und komplette Räder aus Stahlrohren. Den Stahl bezog er von Hoesch.

I'm about halfway through and really enjoying it.
What is a little odd is that I keep thinking about Little Big by #JohnCrowley. I haven't read that one in several decades and barely remember it except that it had a huge impact on my young self. I remember the feeling of reading it though, and I get some of that now, but don't know why.

How did modern #humanities emerge in #EastAsia? In 1922, Tetsuo Satake 佐竹哲雄 (1890–1981) translated Heinrich #Rickert's (1863–1936) #Kulturwissenschaft und Naturwissenschaft (Cultural Science and Natural Science) into Japanese—a full forty years before the English translation.
