There are a lot of things I didn’t like about #RickCaruso - he didn’t understand the job for which he was running, he was a Republican who donated to anti-choice causes until like five minutes before declaring, his paternalistic and white savior-esque ads with children of color… So I’m happy he won’t be mayor of #LosAngeles for all those reasons, but also it always pleases me when someone who thinks they can buy anything and anyone is shown they actually cannot.
