The kids grilled for me! A bit leery handing them $63 worth of 40 day-aged rib eyes, but they did a bang up job!

Beer Pairing? Barrel-aged Narwhal from #sierranevada seemed a good choice, and it WAS. Complexity matched well to the steak, oak and roasty chocolate and coffee.

My wife found a dry aged USDA #Prime #ribeye on clearance at #wegmans. Only catch was that I had to eat it quick, so Wednesday dinner is semi-fancy this week: not pictured are the tater tots I air-fried as a side. 🤣

But to make it fancier, I decided to break out the #Glenmorangie #QuintaRuban 14 year old port cask finished #scotch and put on some 50s West Coast #jazz.
