Der "Parque Natural da Ria Formosa", ein Naturpark um eine Lagune im Osten der portugiesischen Algarve, zwischen dem Festland und einer Kette aus sieben langen, meist schmalen Inseln, die die Lagune vom Atlantik trennt. Die Stadt auf dem Foto ist Faro; ich habe nach dem Start vom dortigen Flughafen fotografiert.

Es ist nicht eigentlich Meer, für mich gehört es dennoch dazu und darum auch zum #MeerMittwoch.

I’m on family holiday in Faro/Algarve and on our first full day we’ve already been treated to wild flamingoes, spoonbills, avocets, curlews, white storks, an osprey, sea urchins and sea cucumbers.
