Yesterday we were in an emergency demonstration against the raids on Palestinians by #jsis terrorists that worsened since one of them got killed (and when life gives them death, they make lemonade out of it).
We decided not to demonstrate at Habima square where the mainstream [good-old-democracy-for-jews but draft-ultra-orthodox-for-genocide] "good zionist" demo took place.
There were no Israeli flags.
I was drumming with the local #RhythmsOfResistance chapter ( #קסמבה ).
9 people were arrested. -

Today I drummed – with #RhythmsOfResistance representatives from Tel Aviv (#קסמבה) and Haifa (#סמבלולי) – at an emergency demonstration to save Doctor Hussam Abu Safiya who seems to be on the verge of dying from the torture he's constantly subjected to.
Although it was hard to mobilize protesters (and drummers) on short notice in the middle of the week, we've managed to organize quite an impressive vigil.

Yesterday I was drumming at the #stonewall march — an anti #pinkwash #pride march in #telaviv
All local #RhythmsOfResistance chapters ( #קסמבה #יסמבה #סמבלולי ) were represented and it was fun (despite the heat).
Kim Ibrahim gave a speech in Arabic and Ella Keidar read the Hebrew translation. It was an fierce and unapologetic speech, condemning the mainstream #lgbtq community for conforming with genocidal society ( tl;dr — #תסרבו ) ✊

Yesterday – #may35th – I drummed at the #Jerusalem # Pride with representatives of all local chapters of #RhythmsOfResistance ( #יסמבה from Jerusalem, #סמבלולי from #Haifa, and #קסמבה from #TelAviv ), reminding the local #lgbtq community that oppressing *others* won't make fascist society embrace them. All in all we were 18 (and IMHO – tight).

It's been a while since I've drummed in such a big circle, and I really enjoyed the drumming and the company. -
Back from an anti-war demonstration in the rain. We were drummers from #RhythmsOfResistance ( #קסמבה ) and #namshi ( @omdimbeyachad ), so we had to stick to simple breaks. Still – we've managed to sound coherent. I came home even wetter than from the famous "umbrella protest" 3 years ago ( https://tooot.im/@zvinj/109689285475599964 )

אתמול יצא לי לתופף עם מעגלי #RhythmsOfResistance של תל אביב יאפא ( #קסמבה ) וחיפא ( #סמבלולי ) אחרי הופעת הרחוב של להקת הפאנק #holocausts מול הקריה.
עשיתי על זה כמה פוסטים אתמול ונאלצתי למחוק אותם בגלל בעיה עם הפוטאג'. הנה סרטון שמאפשר קצת לשמוע איך תופפנו, אבל בעיקר הוא מראה את האלימות המשטרתית המופרעת שהייתה שם.
היו 4 עצורות.ים, האחרון שוחרר קצת אחרי 1:00. -
Yesterday (Friday) we went to the house of #Israel air force commander Tomer Bar to hang an arrest warrant on his door.
I was part of a drum circle with members of the Tel Aviv ( #קסמבה ) and Haifa ( #סמבלולי ) #RhythmsOfResistance collectives.Remember slightly more than 2 years ago when demonstrators who wished to restore the so called democracy vowed their officers (and especially – pilots) wouldn't serve a dictatorship?
Apparently, Bar doesn't.

Once again we've protested in front of Sheraton Grand Hotel Tel Aviv that lodges John Acree and other top #ghf operatives. I was drumming with the Tel Aviv circle of #RhythmsOfResistance (#קסמבה),
One amazing reaction we got (couldn't find footage of that) is people on the other side of the road mockingly dancing to slogans like "Third generation to the #holocaust is starving people".

Yesterday I had the honor to drum in front of Sheraton Grand Hotel that lodged top brass of #ghf ("Genocide Hunger Foundation", as the banner called them).
There were drummers from the three local chapters of #RhythmsOfResistance
#קסמבה #יסמבה #סמבלולי
We were a bit in the back, so there's no footage of us (or even videos with long enough bits of the drumming), so you'll have to trust me we were pretty good.
Anyway it's not about us. It's about hungry people getting shot in a sick #SquidGame -

אתמול תופפתי עם #namshi – מעגל המתופפות.ים של @omdimbeyachad – בצעדה מהבימה דרך קפלן. הםן המשיכו עד גשר בגין, אבל אני עצרתי כשהגענו לגוש נגד הכיבוש באיזור מקדונלד'ס ותופפתי איתםן עד שהגיעו מתופפות מקסמבה ( #RhythmsOfResistance ת"א) וסמבה כימיקילם (חיפה). מקווה שיצוצו סירטונים מזה, כי היה ממש מוצלח.
לפני הצעדה, בהבימה, היה נאום מעולה של פרופסור אבנר דינור, תושב שדרות, על זה שהקפלניסטים שהגנו עליו ועל העוטף כשהמדינה לא תפקדה, לא שמו לב שכשצה"ל חזר לתפקד – הוא עשה זאת כדי ליישם את ההפיכה והגזענות 🤔 -

גם הפעם צעדו מתופפות.י #namshi עם הגוש נגד הכיבוש משדירות ההשכלה עד לצומת קפלן דה וינצ'י.
בגלל שזה אומר לתופף יחד עם #קסמבה קיבלנו קודם הדרכה של רבקה (שמתופפת בשני ההרכבים) בשפת הניצוח של #RhythmsOfResistance וכמה ברייקים שנבחרו בתיאום עם מתופפות קסמבה. כשהתחילה הצעדה, הצטרפו מתופפות.ים ומנצחת של קסמבה, וכשהגענו לפינה של הגוש, קסמבה כבר היו הרוב ואפשר היה לנגן רפרטואר גדול יותר, כשמתופפות.י נמשי ניסו לחקות את האחרות.ים.
לא פשוט, כי היו גם מקצבים עם חלוקה לתפקידים (לא פשוטים) אבל איכשהו הצלחנו🤘
