Today’s listening is ‘The Traveler’, the 2015 album by Rhett Miller.
Although titled as being a solo album by Rhett Miller (of The Old 97’s), the inner sleeve better describes this as an album by ‘Rhett Miller with Black Prairie’.
Black Prairie were the members of The Decemberists, minus Colin Meloy, but with Annalisa Tornfelt.
Also guesting on the album is Peter Buck.
Recorded mostly live in the studio, this is an enjoyable album!
