The album was mostly improvised with lots of different collaborators, this track immediately got among my favorites simply because of Tanya Tagaq!!

Tonight’s Rheostatics fun starts with a killer set by Corin Raymond.

RECORD BODY COUNT did it for me. That's the song that made me a fan. It caught me and pulled me through it. The odd meter worked like switchbacks on a trail, leading me on this singular journey. Just a kid sick of bullies leaving school. But just when you think he's going to get away with it...well, he does, in a way. It still shocks me a little to hear myself sing, 'he fell asleep before he died'.

My month of live music begins tonight with the first of two Rheostatics shows at the Horseshoe and ends four weeks from now with the Skydiggers Holiday show at the Danforth Music Hall.

Yes, I am crazy to spend two night's standing at the Horseshoe at my age.

To say nothing of the fact that the band doesn't even take the stage until 10:45pm!
