"While lawyers representing the #Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) argued the cost of the allowances is a fee, the court ruled that it is a tax and thus requires legislative approval.
Wolf, who left office in January, joined #RGGI by executive order in 2019.
Plaintiffs in the lawsuit included a coalition of energy companies and unions representing #FossilFuel workers.

Partisan hacks on the VA Air Pollution Control Board voted to...get this...remove #Virginia from the #RGGI (Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative) on a day with massive amounts of smoke from wildfires is making it dangerous to be outside.
If this isn't a picture of the future that Republicans want for us, I don't know what is.
