Inspired by @vncresolver, I decided to build a little project to better understand the VNC / RFB protocol. We often think of VNC as a means to show "a desktop", but there's no reason a desktop environment must exist at all - so I made a (headless) game that plays entirely over VNC.

If you connect to greg-kennedy.com with a VNC client, you'll find a shared slot machine. Anyone can pull the handle to take a spin!

**Request For Beer**

As per our last meetings, we need to collect a list of wanted beer brands/variants, together with a list/group of people who want to sponsor it. You should expect ~150 EUR price tag per keg, slightly higher for craft beers.

The process is outlined in the our dedicated wiki page at https://wiki.milliways.info/index.php?title=CCCamp2023-beer-list. Briefly:

1. Check whether your favorite beer is already listed, if so, add yourself to the list of sponsors + the amount of money you'd contribute
2. Otherwise, add the brand/variant/... you'd like to see at camp with yourself as initial sponsor + the amount of money you'd contribute
3. lj will regularly check with the beer vendor whether the listed brands are available.
4. Once the sum of ~ 100 EUR is promised for, lj will also establish contact b/w the primary sponsor and the vendor. The primary sponsor will handle the money collection & transfer.
5. All the kegs that were payed for will be available on-site in a special cooled truck provided by the vendor, including taps, etc. **for free.**

*Note: Non-Beer options are available through the Orga team, this is solely about liquid bread.*
