CW: Warning spoiler Re Zero theory of mine
The whole #ReZero story/anime/novel e.t.c is a time loop. Not sure if it has an ending or not, it's always on "loop". It's about Subaru & Emilia later they realize are the ones who are Satella & Flugel. Something happens in the world either gets destroyed, their friends not sure what happens to them & they have return back in the past 400 years ago, time traveling. Emilia gets the Witch factors & becoming the witch of envy Satella. & of course Subaru Flugel. She will ask him to seal her as of not losing herself which Subaru for her own good will do so. Now after that what happens to Flugel is mystery, what if he will restart his life from Zero with all his memories erased & starts again from season 1 episode 1 as new Subaru & the whole loop starts again as new? That's where the loop leads.
