@TotalFootball i would go a step further and say it needs to see this generation move off stage for the game to grow. This last world cup showed #Lalas is no longer the comentator the US teams need or deserve, #Berhalter took the team as far as he could #USSoccer is kidding itself if they think he has more, clearly the current fiasco shows just how incestuous the top offices are with #Reyna, #Wynalda, #Stewart, and #McBride both in and out of #USSF causing so many problems

The domestic abuse allegation is disturbing. I think #Berhalter has addressed this.

#Soccer #parents gone wild: behind the stunning #Reyna - #Berhalter family feud
I talked about this yesterday. I'll just add 25 years ago I thoroughly enjoyed watching my 12-year-old eject a coach from a youth soccer game for abusive behavior - towards a 12-year-old ref. When we did older kids games together I'd have to deal with coaches and parents who tried to abuse him. He quit a couple of years later. From what I understand it's only worse now.

I know a lot of people are saying this is a bad situation for everyone involved #usmnt #ussoccer BUT I think for US Soccer this is good in the long run. It’s like bringing a cyst to a head. Jeez, soccer parents. I remember those days - good times except for parents like these. The Reynas have no self respect.

Some more questions that will be answered over time. Whose name pushes more weight within US Soccer between Reyna and Berhalter? Who can or can’t be replaced easily between Reyna and Berhalter? Does US Soccer need Reyna or Berhalter more for 2026 (huge year)? And most importantly who do the Euro players back when push comes to shove? #usmnt #berhalter #reyna
