The postman brought me the entertainment for the next couple of days. Is the weekend here soon?

"There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, and the sea's asleep, and the rivers dream; people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, and somewhere else the tea's getting cold. Come on, Ace. We've got work to do." -The Doctor

RE-EDIT: I got alt text but no caption on the first picture, and captions but no alt text on the rest..... and after that, only captions no matter how I try to write it

EDIT : Figured it out. Directly (no space) after the address string thingy for the picture, add the description and directly after that (again no space) [/img]

I have no idea how to add captions or alt text....I'm trying to find a Friendica alt text for dummies guide, but everything I find reads like technobabble. Sorry, I'm old, we had Commodore 64's when I was in school.

Found this "Say, you want to embed the image.jpg from example.com. The BBCode to add the image and provide an ALT text for it would be:
img=http://example.com/image.jpg]This is the image description text.[/img

When I drag and drop a picture in a post, it looks like this:

-so....I put the what where???

I don't quite understand the big yellow box warning me that an email originated from outside my university. Given my druthers, I'd send all the internal email to the spam folder and keep the stuff that comes from outside. The outside email is largely about ideas and projects. The inside email rarely rises above the level of administrivia. #reversethepolarity
