My birthday week again; a few days left.
But I’ve already received this incredible card from the folks at the Church of Subgnius, specifically from the Grand Wizard Oberwarlord Reverend Onan Canobite. Mr @onan Canobite wrote the lyrics to the song ‘Moral Panic’ on my LP of the same name and is surely what you’d call a true friend. The Church of SubGenius is arguably the most influential artistic collective in the USA and has been active since the early 1980s. If it didn’t move me to tears, it would move me to tears.

The wonderful world of Undead Chemnitz
Wie ihr wisst, kämpfen wir um unser Haus und unsere Kultur. Wir haben zum Glück einen super guten Anwalt, der auf unserer Seite ist und versteht, dass wir hier nicht (nur) um unser eigenes Glück kämpfen, sondern was erhalten wollen. In unserer Naivität hatten wir gedacht, dass vielleicht die Stadt ein gewisses Interesse hat, dass so was erhalten beleibt. Wir haben bis jetzt alles aus Eigeninitiative gemacht und mit eurer Hilfe machen wir das auch weiter so.Unser Plan ist jetzt, die Reinecker Villa auf unserem Nachbargrundstück zu übernehmen und zu einem Kultur- und Musikhaus umzugestalten. Die steht seit über 20 Jahren leer und wurde von der GGG einigermaßen in Schussgehalten, hat aber keine Aufgabe. Vorher war sie schon eine Kulturstätte und hat z. B. einen kleinen Konzertraum (was ich super cool finde). Mal sehen.
Wir werden jetzt alles daran setzen, weiter machen zu können. Wir benötigen da dringend eure Hilfe. Es wird wahrscheinlich Geld kosten und überhaupt muss es erst mal möglich werden, da das ja andere Menschen entscheiden. Also alles, was uns der Sache näher bringt, wäre gut. Meldet euch gern, wenn ihr Ideen habt oder Kontakte jeglicher Art - egal was, irgendwie muss es weiter gehen. Danke :))
