@Starcade Liked #GhostWar even though it pretty much follows the #JackRyan #TVSeries & doesn't offer anything really new to the series.

Same for #MadMax #FuryRoad which I liked for the "edge" that #TomHardy brought back to the series. Even though he's not that big, Hardy brings a scary intensity to his roles in this film & in other shows that he's starred in like the TV series #Taboo, other movies like the #Revenant & #Warrior which makes him a must see for me in anything that he's starring in.

#ThePost is also a very good film in the journalistic film genre which includes #Spotlight & #AllThePresidentsMen.

Don't recall seeing #Bent. Took a look at a trailer for it. Good cast, thin plot but I may take a look at it if I can find it to stream somewhere.

Read the thread on violence in #kdrama land. I made it through s1 of #taxidriver but decided to skip S2. I feel that #theglory is a masterpiece of revenge being served cold. I think I’m the only person who never made it past ep 3 of #vincenzo. Ironically I found the Korean version of #boysbeforeflowers unwatchable because of the violence.
I liked #revenant and #dearhongrang otherwise I don’t watch a lot of horror.

I finished #hauntedpalace and if you like supernatural horror on the level of #revenant you will probably like this one. They even stick the landing for the end. The cinematography and CGI is well done. So is the acting. For me it’s a 9.8/10 because I wanted more to happen to the big bad especially after what he did to his faithful acolyte. #kdrama

Just watched #BloodDiamond again which is a highly under-rated & seldom mentioned movie.

#LeonardoDiCaprio gives one of his best performances on screen in this film, right up there with #Revenant IMO.

#DjimonHounsou gives an equally powerful performance, right up there with #Amistad.

#JenniferConnelly also performs well in a supporting role.

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you watch it &, if you haven't seen it in awhile, I highly recommend that you watch it again.

An 8 out of 10 for me!

Last night, the party finally met Edgar Illmere and it was certainly ... intense. Edgar is a severely fallen Aasimar who became a Revenant after some very unfortunate events. I love him a lot and can't wait for the players to know more.

This was a lot of fun to do and this reveal was a very long one, but I think it was absolutely worth it.
