PGA Tour >> SIGNIFICANT overhaul coming in 2028! Implementing 2 tracks.

- Championship Series with the top 130 players, top money, purses of $20M or more

- Challenger Series, with 144-player fields, smaller purses ~$4M. Win two Challenger Series events gets automatic promotion to the Championship.

Will have the strictest form of promotion and relegation the sport has ever seen. “Championship” players who don’t play well for a full season will lose their access to top-tier events for a full season. A new points system will determine the best golfer in the world that season.

Schedule will incorporate off-week breaks, to incentivize pros to play two or three weeks straight before a reset.

Players in each series are restricted from competing in the other series. There is no alternate list for Championship events. The schedule will be trimmed down ~20/21 events with 36 hole cuts.

Following the stroke-play portion of the season, the Tour’s postseason will introduce match play for the first time.

Another #revamp #upcycle project, to a full length high waisted, brown needlecord pinafore #dress from a charity shop. The bust was to tight and needed letting out about 3 inches. Adding the striped front panel allowed me to cover the 10in cut I made straight down the centre of the yoke to increase the width. I had to shape the front panel with darts to keep the shape of the high waist. I added the #embroidery not only for decoration but to help flatten and pull in the #Fabric #Dressmaking #Sew

I have been drawn to work on a #revamp #upcycle of several items of #clothing that I could not bring myself to get rid of. This is a #vintage French wool sports shirt, that I retrieved from a friends rag bag in Brittany. One arm had been chopped off below the elbow, moth holes and worn collar. But I loved the #Fabric and the long length of the body. I picked some scraps of printed Liberty #wool fabric from a charity shop to patch it. The remaining lower sleeve made the pockets. #embroidery

My plain dark blue jumper embroidered revamp is finished ready for the Christmas season. Based on traditional Breton costume designs and colours, highly decorative collars of detailed embroidery are a classic feature of their style.
