Amidon v1.0 – Teil 2: FS-UAE

Nachdem ich den Amiga-Mastodon-Client auf dem nativen A1200 im Teil 1 noch nicht zum Laufen gebracht habe, folgte heute der nächste Versuch mit einer frischen AmigaOS 3.2.2 Version unter FS-UAE.

Backed up the BIOS on my childhood AST Advantage 611s now. Good to know that it's safe. As far as I know there were no BIOS dumps available. Before now 😎

I found this old microwave stand in a trash heap, and have been slowly converting into a rad place to house the TI-99/4a and maybe a Windows XP computer to play my old PC games.

Just lost an hour of my day researching vintage DOS palmtops and laptops on ebay and the web at large.

IF I could find one with DOS 5.0 or later in ROM, the ability to take CF cards, and a full sized DB-9 serial port for less than $200 I'd be sorely tempted.

If it could run on AAs, I don't think I'd hesitate.

Any #retrocomputering folks know of a model I should look for?
