From Reddit: The NEC N5200 is a curious little workstation from 1987. It runs proprietary PTOS on an Intel 286. This version comes with a hard drive and boots from it. You can select boot option via a toggle on the case front

For the stocking themselves I finally made a sort of "name tag" so that people could figure out which stocking goes to who. I semi-randomly pick stockings to fill based on how much stuff needs to go into them, so I've never sewn names onto them. Instead I made custom #3DPrinted pins of things that certain people are very into. For my mom an alligator, Snoopy for my dad, "caffeine" for my sister, and of course the #RetroBattlestations logo for me.

On a side note, I *still* haven't managed to repair my T3200SX power supply. I was really hoping to use it this year but I have no clue about repairing switching power supplies. 😔

I remember back in 1986 drooling over getting a Softstrip reader, but I couldn't afford it and magazines were slowly dying by then.
I got one a few years ago & dreamed of using Softstrip format to distribute programs for #RetroBattlestations BASIC Month contests. But, as @TechTangents points out in the video, few people bought Softstrip readers back then, making it extremely rare among #RetroComputing enthusiasts today—dashing my plans.

Going with this motherboard for now. It boots, it uses the same RAM sticks as the old motherboard and they test good in this one. There's a contest going on #RetroBattlestations and someone might need the BBS to be up. Will figure out what to do about the lack of an ISA slot later.
