I don't think I will buy a non-retractable fountain pen ever again. All my writing is note taking, annotating or list making/crossing. Uncapping and capping a pen for these short tasks is simply impractical for me.
My favorite non-retractable is Twisbi Eco. I hope they make a retractable fountain pen sometime. 🤞

I got a brass Jinhao 10 retractable fountain pen in F a little while ago. The nibs in these inexpensive pens are always a hit or miss. I seem to have landed a butter smooth nib! The pen has some heft and looks gorgeous too. I chose this version because it has a grooved body that can provide grip and indeed it does. Easily has become my new daily driver now. 🖋
