My Windows XP EEEPC with a 300GB Mechanical HDD and 1GB of ram boots to a usable desktop in 25-30 seconds - Not including the 10 second POST time.
That's freaking fast. And it's not a clean install; It's mildly lived in, I have Visual Studio, RCT 1 & 2, GTA 3, Halo, Half Life, Age of Empires 1 & 2 & Expansion for Both + Forgotten Empires, Daemon Tools, Supermium for a Browser, VLC (which still compiles for XP by the way!) and ConEmu (replaces cmd), and Piriform Defraggler (Because that was actually worth a damn at this time).
Oh and Steam, though it's yelling about Windows 10 32 bit not being supported soon.
Oh Oh and a Replacement Start Menu that gives me the menu from Windows 7.

I dug out an #iMacG4 that has been untouched in the loft for 15 years. Turned it on and it said a little triple tone and flashed it's little light. After a reset it came properly to life and updated OS. Found Safari doesn't like Https sites, so loaded #Aquafox and she works fine, if slowly.
Reckon she'll be a good thing to test the #indieweb site I'll be building, though I will plug her into the fibre broadband, not a #dialup modem (can you still get on line with one?)
