Fixing my first ever bug was a fun experience. I am not sure when and if there will be another chance for me to do so! It was a bug fix regarding syntax highlighting in #ReText, the #Markdown editor I've been raving about lately. 😜

Lots of "firsts" this week for me:

1. Completed pull requests on 3 projects & got them all merged! Esp proud of the #retext #markdown editor syntax highlighting fix.

2. Joined a web-ring (if you could call it that?) community—#512kbclub by @kev!

In the end I got it down to 499kB. MonaspaceVar font taking up a good 100kB+ chunk of the uncompressed total. I need to find a spot to put the club badge! Excited :)

3. Bought an official #nanoblock #ultraman 200pc (only had knockoffs before).

Hi here's another question concerning #ReText what is the black vertical line that's on all my ReText documents ?

@eclecticpassions I use #ReText that has now replaced #Featherpad just for taking notes, I don't program or anything like that.

Lately I have installed #docker on a another PC to run #Nextcloud, #Homeassistant, #Wordpress for example.

So I take notes, lots of them ...
On the left panel are the notes, plus the Inline code (coloured red) to format the part that needs copying on the right, strangely I need to do Inline codes twice or four 'AltGr 7 (backticks) ' for the the formatting to work.

#ReText for #Linux is a really cool #markdown editor with live preview.
The balance between features and simplicity is perfect for me!

How many people use ReText for #Linux to organize documents? I believe it is faster than using traditional text editors. #ReText supports both #Markdown and #reStructuredTex' , and it is excellent for exporting to HTML, PDF , and is quick to use. #opensource
