    @hamradio Hello Fediverse! Been playing around with the #Retevis #Aliunce #HA2. Can anyone point me to resources or help with pairing it to a Linux device for packet/APRS?

    I haven’t been able to find much for this device, since the TNC was only added recently to the firmware.

    Any suggestions for waterproof #PMR #handset|s? The #Motorola #Talkabout #T92 looks decent and even swims, but ~€50 is steep when any random #Retevis does the same thing modulo being waterproof for ~€10.

    Seems I really need waterproofing as this kind of holiday has us wet to the underwear somewhat regularly. Fun hikes, but still, I want the communication to work reliably.
