π» Three North American species: gray wolves, grizzly bears and bison are examples of how local restrictions after they reached minimal levels prevented the species to thrive.
πͺΆ Restrictions also limit ability of indigenous people to maintain a cultural connection.
π A better conservation strategy would be to measure success by creating a thriving population participating in its natural habitat. But this would require a new vision and policies.
