Was der Gute zu den Auswirkungen der Mauerstrategie der Streamingdienste schreibt, das gilt in gleicher und noch weitreichender Weise für Zensur und Verbotsversuche. Es sind die Kinder und Jugendlichen, auch Ihre persönlichen Kinder und Enkel*innen, die in der Technikkompetenz ihren Eltern, Lehrer*innen und den verbotssüchtigen, greisen Politiker*innen immer 3-5 Schritte voraus sind. Leinenzwang oder “ohneesseninnettbett” wird es eher noch befeuern.
Hauptsache die Reflexe der Mehrheit der ahnungslosen alten Mehrheit sind bedient. Eine medieninkompetente politische Klasse simuliert Handeln. Die AfD sammelt und freut es. Die junge Minderheit wundert sich und wendet sich ab.

Wie kommichdrauf? Zwei lobenswerte Ausnahmen:
Zachary Paikin/Quincy-Institute, Responsible Statecraft/telepolis: “Kurswechsel in der Ukraine-Politik: Europäische Spitzenpolitiker bereiten Kompromisse vor – Vor Alaska-Gipfel: Es gilt vorsichtiger Optimismus – solange die Hauptbeteiligten sich nicht selbst im Weg stehen.”
Bernard Schmid/telepolis: “Muslimbrüder-Panik in Frankreich: Politik zwischen Feindbild und Doppelmoral – Während Paris Katar hofiert, wird die Angst vor islamistischen Netzwerken politisch aufgeladen – oft losgelöst von der Realität.”
Beide Autoren befleissigen sich des Pozessdenkens und der materialistischen Analyse. Das ist das, was ich von qualifizierten Journalist*inn*en und Autor*inn*en erwarte. Und das auch hier im Extradienst nicht immer geliefert wird. Aber wir werden auch nicht dafür bezahlt …
Und schliesslich noch aus der uebermedien-Paywall entschlüpft:
Die Ex-Beuelerin Annika Schneider schreibt: “Dubiose Telegram-Werbung: Der Kryptobot der ‘Tagesschau’ – Die ARD-Nachrichtensendung verdient in ihrem Telegram-Kanal an Werbung für dubiose Fußballwetten mit – und merkt es nicht. Nach dem Hinweis einer Nutzerin und einer Anfrage von Übermedien will die Redaktion den Kanal nun abschalten.”
Aus Schneiders Darstellung geht hervor, dass die Sache der “Tagesschau” immerhin angemessen peinlich ist, und sie sich mitsamt der ARD als ertappte Sünderin gibt. Dieses sittliche Gebaren ist der ARD im Falle ihrer Sportschau völlig fremd. Bei Berichten von Spielen der Deutschen Fussball-Liga (DFL), dem Kartell des Profifussballs der Herren, wird Sponsorenwerbung semikrimineller Wettanbieter gesendet, als gäbe es kein Morgen mehr. Weil es so in den nichtöffentlichen – noch nicht mal den Rundfunkrät*inn*en zugänglichen – Verträgen steht. Und in denen steht, dass die ARD für diese Werbung kein Geld bekommt, sondern im Gegenteil einen sehr grossen Haufen Geld, dessen Umfang geheimgehalten wird, bezahlt. Unser Geld!

Was passiert, wenn Zensor*innen durchziehen
mit Update nachmittags
Der immer kompetente Sebastian Meineck/netzpolitik berichtet wie immer streng sachlich aus dem Hamsterrad deutscher Porno-Zensor*inn*en: “Medienwächter wollen noch mehr Netzsperren für Pornoseiten – Nach jahrelangem Ringen gegen Pornoseiten bekommt die Medienaufsicht neue Instrumente. Ab 1. Dezember darf und will die Behörde mehr Netzsperren anordnen und Zahlungen unterbinden. Porno-Produzentin Paulita Pappel vergleicht das Vorgehen mit autoritären Regimen.” Bei diesem Anblick denke ich immer: schade um das schöne Geld. Die Wenigsten wissen, dass das emsige vergebliche Treiben deutscher Landesmedienanstalten von unser aller TV-Haushaltsgebühr bezahlt wird. In bessere TV-Programme, mit ihrer weiträumigen Luft nach oben, wäre es wahrlich besser angelegt.
Was wird nun passieren, wenn sich die Behütungs- und Zensor*inn*entruppen kraftvoll zusammenschliessen und durchsetzen? Der grassierende Mangel an Medienkompetenz spricht dafür, dass es so kommen wird.
Eine Antwort findet sich beim Wühlen in der Bezahlmauer von Jakob Augstein. Der Multimillionärssohn verrammelt seine Wochenzeitung Freitag gegen öffentliches Lesen. Ausser einen Beitrag aus dem Guardian, und der ist extrem lesenswert, praxisnah und gesättigt mit Lebenserfahrung:
Gabriel V Rindborg/Guardian/Freitag: “Streaming-Dienste treiben Zuschauer zurück zur Piraterie – Filmfans wenden sich zunehmend VPNs und illegalen Streaming-Diensten zu. Schweden, Heimat von Spotify und The Pirate Bay, nimmt dabei eine Vorreiterrolle ein”.
Was der Gute zu den Auswirkungen der Mauerstrategie der Streamingdienste schreibt, das gilt in gleicher und noch weitreichender Weise für Zensur und Verbotsversuche. Es sind die Kinder und Jugendlichen, auch Ihre persönlichen Kinder und Enkel*innen, die in der Technikkompetenz ihren Eltern, Lehrer*innen und den verbotssüchtigen, greisen Politiker*innen immer 3-5 Schritte voraus sind. Leinenzwang oder “ohneesseninnettbett” wird es eher noch befeuern.
Hauptsache die Reflexe der Mehrheit der ahnungslosen alten Mehrheit sind bedient. Eine medieninkompetente politische Klasse simuliert Handeln. Die AfD sammelt und freut es. Die junge Minderheit wundert sich und wendet sich ab.

Die freihändig und geistfreie Verwendung dieses Begriffs geht mir schon länger auf den Zeiger. Das verbindet mich mit Jörn Schulz/Jungls World, dem dazu ein ernstzunehmender Diskussionsbeitrag gelingt: “Der Begriff Imperialismus dient mehr der moralischen Verdammung als der Analyse: Die Macht und ihr Preis – Der vage Imperialismusbegriff ist nicht geeignet, um die neuen Herrschaftsformen in Russland und China und deren aggressive Außenpolitik zu analysieren.” Wer heutige Machtkämpfe verstehen will, muss sich damit beschäftigen.
Vermischung von Fakten und Legendenbildung
David C. Hendrickson/Responsible Statecraft/telepolis verbreitet dazu in meinen Augen eine Legende: “Warum dürfen Ukraine und Israel den Kurs des US-Imperiums bestimmen? – Noch hält Biden daran fest, die Ukraine und Israel bedingungslos zu unterstützen. Doch in der Regierung wächst der Streit. Was folgt daraus?” Im Original: “Why do we let Israel and Ukraine wag the US dog? – In America’s weird empire, dependents call the shots. Soon we will be suffering he consequences.”
Dass die Imperialismus-Zentrale in Washington sich von ausländischen Mächten fremdsteuern lässt, ist eine faule Ausrede fauler Präsidenten gegenüber ihren inländischen Auftraggeber*inne*n. Und Letztere sind nicht so doof, das nicht zu wissen. Wirklichkeitsnäher scheint mir Hendricksons Beschreibung von strategischen Meinungsverschiedenheiten an ebendieser Stelle. Solche Meinungsverschiedenheiten zu erkennen ist lebenswichtig, insbesondere für Versuche politischer Einflussnahme von links unten.
Deutschland dagegen wird Entwicklungsland
Ein eindrucksstarkes Symptom: “Die analoge Verwaltung als tickende Zeitbombe – Seit Jahrzehnten kommt die Digitalisierung der deutschen Justiz und Verwaltung nicht von der Stelle. Das wird sich bitter rächen, sagt Martin Gerhard Loschwitz” bei heise-online.
Alles richtig beschrieben. Laut loslachen musste ich gegen Ende, an der Stelle mit dem “Fundament der technischen Vernunft”. So ein scharf beobachtender Autor mit so einem religiösen Glauben? Oder hatte die heise-Redaktion gerade Mittagspause (13:04 h)? Denn dort ist das Wissen über die ökonomische, gesellschaftliche und politische Bedingtheit von Technik doch normalerweise präsent.
Ich drehe Loschwitz Beschreibung noch eine Windung weiter: mit Deutschlands Migrationspolitik wird meine Generation absehbar statt von schwarzen Menschen von weissen Robotern “gepflegt”. Ob wir das wollen, wird uns niemand fragen.
