  7. How much did the failure of the #ScientificCommunity to accept and communicate the #Airborne nature of many serious #RespiratoryDiseases result in Trump losing in 2020 and then returning in 2024?

(This is apart from the millions of deaths that the initial COViD-19 emergency caused outside the USA.
The downstream failures around #Masking and indoor air quality #IAQ remain largely unresolved.)

    Hypothetical:
Trump wins 2020. Covid deaths +++. Gaza explodes in his hands.

  8. No mention of airborne disease spread/respirators, only hand hygiene. 🤡 I know LOTS of Covid-competent folks who could demo wearing N95s and explain ventilation/filtration!

  9. @IcooIey @eniko It is significant and important that a statewide government, CT, is implementing this relatively inexpensive technology instead of spending the budget “studying” the issue and deciding the high cost solution is beyond the schools’ means.

I had #LongFlu (being very fatigued or otherwise debilitated for more than one month after catching the flu) three times in the ?six years before Covid arrived.

I want #IndoorAirQuality regulations to stop more folk catching these #Airborne #RespiratoryDiseases.

The ongoing denial of the spread in the air of serious debilitating and lethal diseases by a small sub-section of the medical profession is a #scandal.
#Cochrane did #MaskingDenial. Others have done similar.

I chatted with a guy working in a #LithiumProcessing plant.

    #LithiumDust is dangerous.

But they've got the science, engineering and procedures worked out so that #EveryoneCanGoHomeSafely.

But offices, shops , education and hospitality can not be organised to protect us from serious #RespiratoryDiseases?

  20. @jmcrookston

Now I'm just guessing here, but it's #Airborne?

And #IndoorAirQuality measures like #FilteredAir or #UVSterilisation would offer big protection?

Gee, I'm beginning to wonder why #Workplace measures against airborne #RespiratoryDiseases were not put in place 30 years ago?

What's been the position of #IndustryGroups, #PublicHealth and #Unions over the decades?

  21. Long COVID research offers 'light at the end of the tunnel', finding symptoms ease over time

  22. Lots of folk riled up about something.

If you're in America - this could effect masking in hospitals.
Contacting the offices of your federal Rep & Senator about this committee's behaviour might help.

And if the physics of air filtering are acknowledged here then just mayhap you'll get #CleanAir at work and in shops.
