  1. Why are #ResMed #CPAP humidifier tanks so damn terrible?

Because their only competition is Philips.

  2. The humidifier tank on the #ResMed S11 is the absolute WORST water tank in the world (ahead of the S9 upper portion). Impossible to keep clean; designed with a ton of deep corners and angles that not even a toothbrush can reach without serious effort. I had to wipe the pink slime out with a stack of paper towels. There HAS to be something better.

  3. Thank you #ResMed for making the controls for CPAP therapy in the #MyAir app usable via bluetooth and pretty accessible on the iPhone. Now, just one more tiny thing; can we also get to the controls for things like mask setting?

  4. Huh. Neat. My #Resmed CPAP just performed an OTA firmware update. What a world we live in.

  7. The #ResMed #AirMini is a remarkable #CPAPmachine that excels in combining a compact design, lightweight construction, and portability. It delivers effective #sleepapnea therapy in a convenient, travel-friendly package.😴 It makes it an ideal choice for those constantly on the move.😊

  8. I picked up my new #Resmed S11 #CPAP yesterday and set it up. Disturbed to find that it has an embedded LTE cellular modem and a data plan on T-Mobile so the doctor can monitor my sleep quality and make adjustments from remote. Fine, I guess, since it means I don't have to install an app on my phone. Still, creepy. At least it has airplane mode.

  9. If you have sleep apnea and are using a CPAP machine, this open source software is for you! I have even installed it on a #Chromebook and it ran out of the box (so to speak!). Loaded the SD card, ran the software, it found the SD card and data and imported it.

OSCAR - the Open Source CPAP Analysis Reporter - is software compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems, developed for reviewing and exploring data produced by supported CPAP, bilevel, ventilators and related machines used in the treatment of sleep apnea. Oscar requires that data is collected on a SD card which MUST be inserted into the PAP machine during use to record detailed data.

  10. If I can tell an advertiser their subscription box ad got inserted into a download of this week’s top murder podcast and got heard by the audience they wanted to target even within 24 hours, I’m still doing better than #ResMed is doing at telling you whether you need to adjust your mask or settings for better health

This is the second time in 4 months they’ve had an outage like this. This is 2023; there is no excuse to fuck up streaming architectures like this. IoT telemetry is a solved problem

  11. #TIL my dumb ass architected a system that can handle this scale of data about #podcast downloads, where measurement delays are measured in hours and I feel awful if they go beyond 3 (this is uncommon; >6h happened like once, when #Kinesis went down for 14h, and drove us to switch to #Kafka), but a medical device company with an annual revenue of $3.6 billion can’t manage literal weeks of delay

I care more about timely podcast measurement than #ResMed cares about #CPAP therapy

    What the fuck?

  12. Airfit F30i

That's my new CPAP full-face but under the nose mask. Also the tube connects on top of the head, making me struggle less with it being in the way I hope. Also, I can wear my glasses with it!

Does anyone else have an experience with this one? Do you like it? #Resmed #Cpap #Osas #airfitF30i #sleepapnea #NEISvoid
