    I feel like this album should've been on some AOTY lists last year, but I don't recall seeing it. Collab between Polish cellist/composer Karolina Rec aka Resina and Paris-based electronic musician Niamké Désiré aka Aho Ssan. Very brooding and cinematic.

    Following that up with another album recommended in that BC feature on contemporary Polish composers. This had me at the comparison with Jóhann Jóhannsson, and the description also name-drops Hildur Guðnadóttir, Gyða Valtýsdóttir, and GY!BE. I.e., buffy catnip.
