Following the highly successful quantum year 2025, the "MQV-Einblicke" event series entered its next round last week with the kick-off at TH Nürnberg – from now on with the adapted subtitle “Quantenwissenschaften vor Ort erleben” (Experience quantum science up close).
And that is exactly what interested visitors were invited to do again this time: Listening to exciting lectures and visiting various laboratories.

For Adelina Bärligea, quantum computing is the perfect intersection of her favorite subjects – maths, computer science, and physics. The MQV doctoral fellow is pursuing her doctorate in quantum algorithms at Uni Augsburg, following one central question: Are there quantum algorithms that really benefit us?

🚀 Yesterday, the German Space Operations Center (GSOC) in Oberpfaffenhofen opened its doors as part of our "MQV-Einblicke" event series. During a lecture and a tour of the institute, visitors gained exciting insights into satellite operations and learned about the potential that GSOC scientists see in quantum technologies for space operations.

Simone Foderà is researching a quantum-inspired algorithm called Quantics Tensor Cross Interpolation (QTCI) at the LMU München. On Monday, the Walter Schottky Institute, invited visitors as part of our event series "MQV-Einblicke" to listen to talks by Jonathan Finley and Alex Holleitner and to tour their labs. The large audience was able to learn about the generation and detection of individual light particles and their important role in quantum technologies.

The European Union has approved SUPREME, a new pilot line to industrialize superconducting quantum chip fabrication!
We're proud that five MQV institutes and start-ups play a key role within the pilot line and that MQV empowers their collaboration and synergetic efforts.
