Ah, the "there's a deadline and words happened but I'm pretty sure they're somewhere between vaguely-sensible-but-out-of-order and utter crap" sensation.

Okay, that was not a terrible day of "fix this section" and "read this article and add a line about it" and "cut this section, no, really." I even maybe articulated a thing or two more clearly.

Today's #researchday achievement is finishing David Ellis's Byron in Geneva. (Upcoming event prep). I *may* be reading the shortest books first in this stack, for the sense of achievement. 😬

#ResearchDay at @ACDHCH_OeAW
during lunch break
got myself a little present
Greek to German hand book published 1831
during a talk, at which thoughts presented were kind of objected by me, so decided to do a little reading in new acquisition
and, at the very second presenter talked about Breslau my eyes got the same information 🤨
🥰
anyways thanks for a nice day filled with inspiring talks and scholars 🥰
😊

Reading Doctor Who comics and tie in novels about library planets. As one does. #researchday #TheInfiniteLoop

250 words about Possession in the chapter we're winding down on is a good start. Time to have some lunch and dive back in. #researchday

Reminding myself that squaring away repro rights for the Wells article still counts as research work as I stare at the soggy middle of the book manuscript from between my fingers. #researchday
-
Having to remind myself that reading cronchy things about the philosophy of how we experience memory and time is part of the work of feeding my backbrain so I can make more words later on The Infinite Loop. #researchday
-
Added 600 words to my article about the H.G. Wells collection today, mostly about works from his personal library. :nods in satisfaction: #researchday
(that brings me up to 1/3 of wordcount)

Morgen ist #researchday am @ACDH_OeAW @oeaw und ich spreche um 12:30 über #familiensache @ihb_oeaw. Letzter Vortrag vor der Mittagspause, aber es wird spannend - versprochen! ;-)

Ok, I've made about 750 words across two things, which isn't bad considering the day we're having here. The advantage of the Infinite Loop project is that I can always squeeze out another paragraph about Doctor Who. (Although I covered Quantum Leap a bit today, too). #researchday

Okay, 750-1000 words added in bits across a couple of chapters isn't bad for re-entry week. #ResearchDay #TheInfiniteLoop

There are worse things than getting to learn about (and write about) the whole multimedia character arc of Jocasta Nu from Star Wars. #researchday

I am at #researchday where people from universities present outcomes of research that #redhat sponsors.
