  1. A Clouded Monitor (Varanus nebulosus) spotted at Upper Seletar Reservoir Park, Singapore on 20 Dec 2025. It might be looking for food on the tree trunk, or just catching some sunlight. Distinguished from the water monitor by the position of its nostrils at the middle of the snout. Water monitors have nostrils at the tip of the snout.
