Oookay.. task number one completed. Re-repotted the bamboo plant. Gonna be a hard trauma hit since a lotta roots went too unfortunately.
The longterm plan is to trim it down under the light but Im just hopin it survives for a while.. 🤞

Ok.. I decided just to replant for now, let it get back together, then prune it. I hoped to split them but the rootball said no.. the whole cup was roots and they were intertwined.. crossing my fingers now..

1)Some blab, videos + photos of a couple of tropical plants that I had to rescue- from me! I had a bit too much to say about soils, watering, etc, so I made a blog post with the 2 videos + a bonus vid of a flowering cactus.

3/ (I have lots of well established potted saplings from past removals in various beds).
I dug up some mostly rotted wood debris/sawdust from my wood cutting area and potted them all up in old pots. Bonuses: a #native Viburnum edule, which was loose where I was collecting the soil (common here) and a #VolunteerSeedling Viola front row (more next post)
