This #pocket #castle is ornamental and three sided. It looks rather similar from any of its faces. It is rather fun. You can stay in a suite I believe to be rather nice at the top, see a long way from the roof, and until recently get married in the middle.

Three years, same scene.

It’s fascinating seeing how the scene itself changes from year to year as I learn to observe my material better and I still struggle with the tree in the front, and it’s leaves as it spreads over the corner, but the progress is there!

I've been trying to check a few long-standing tasks off my to-do list over the holiday break. #Repainting our front door has been a long time coming. The old paint was crazed and flaking badly and the timber beneath was at risk of rot. Last week I stripped the door back, removed any damaged wood, and sealed the vertically jointed sections against any more water ingress. It took a while for the silicon gap filler to go off, so after a few days I'm now finally able to paint!

There I was, chillaxing, when I said to my self SELF, THERE’S A 1/2” OF PAINT LEFT. YOU SHOULD GIVE THE BATHROOM SOME RAZZMATAZZ. So here we are, 2 hours later & I went from boring bathroom to the start of something good.

I’ll paint the rest white in Feb when I add some shelving. I’ll put some wood shelves under the cabinet where the stupid steel trolley is, but I’ll paint them white along with the end wall, behind my door, and the ceiling. .#painting #DIY #repainting #decorating

@michaelbtice ok it might not be that weird. I live in a smaller, poorer city and it doesn't have a big distribution hub. The rumor is all of our mail goes to a bigger post office to be sorted, so even if you send something to Canton, from Canton it goes to like Cleveland for a little bit. Some friends painted their office wall a Tiffany blue, and I loved it on Facebook, so they’re like “there’s 3/4 of a gallon left…”

I got a message from Lee Towersy asking for a painting. Lee built a R2D2 for fun that ended up in Force Awakens and other films. He sent it out as his Christmas cards. A year later he sent me a crew hat from #andor  and it made my life. Hope he sent the card to his castmates!
