It's Renton's Dragon Landing day.
I'll be walking along The Village, Master's Alley, and Dragon's Hoard experiencing a city that decided to celebrate that it is the headquarters for a particular type of nerd.
This year they expanded the D&D open play, have live smithing, ax throwing and of course armored combat -- it's all under the watchful eyes of Erasmus, our guardian dragon.

#Renton Sailing is opening up registration sailing classes for the summer near #seattle
If you've never sailed, I'd strongly suggest the small boat classes even if your ultimate goal is keelboat. It's easier to learn on a small boat, and just easier to get on the water on the spur of the moment.
Right now I'm doing one small boat, one keelboat class, but all the instructors are great people (and US Sailing certified)

And now the update is for the Cedar River to be at 17 feet, the second highest it's been.
At "16 - the Cedar River will cause major flooding in Renton, especially at the Renton Airport. Flooding will occur all along the river including headwaters, tributaries, and other streams within and near the Cedar River Basin."
