Unsere Freunde von "Mind Erosion" treten am Samstag, den 11.10.2025 ab 19:00 Uhr bei der 15. Auflage der SUED KULTUR MUSIC NIGHT in Hamburg Harburg auf.
Wer Lust und Laune auf richtig gute Mukke hat sollte da unbedingt hingehen. Für kleines Geld bekommt man überdies noch jede Menge mehr musikalisch geboten. 14 Locations und mehr als 40 Acts live. Und Mind Erosion sind natürlich eh Klasse!

No Joy Searches - sometimes...
Other times, it seems snappy. the majority of search functions I typically perform are either@[email protected]or the actual URLs of posts I want to boost or quote-post.... er... #Renote or #Quote, rather, in *key vernacular :)
And sometimes, even though I get that dialog box popping up to mock me (I don't think I'm imagining this), if I just sit for a bit, sometimes it will eventually offer up a SERP.
The majority of the time however, I get mocked for bothering to search for a specific item that I know exists with this graphic:

@[email protected] #Pleroma definitely does #quoteposts. However it's awkward IMO because you have to click on the OP's reply button to be able to quote that OP. This is bad design imho as replies and quotes are supposed to be two different things; a #quote is much closer to a #boost. It's not just because I'm used to Misskey putting the option into the #renote / boost button, it also just logically makes more sense as you're putting it into your own timeline and you intend for people to see the post you're quoting. :sagume_think:
#Akkoma too supports quote boosting; it has its own button in the UI. Kinda like #Firefish and its forks (as well as #Sharkey). :cirno_fumo_yes:
I have no idea about #Rebased; never used it. :cirnoShrug: -
I wish there's a #visibility in the #fediverse that is between #Public and #Unlisted (or Home in #Misskey / #Sharkey speak) :awoothink:
Like one where it is invisible in the Global/Federated timelines but will still be visible in the #hashtags used :awoothink:
It sucks to see posts that I really like that I want to #quotepost it to give it some hashtags only to realize it's useless because they made it Unlisted (and therefore my quote #renote is going to be forced as Home/Unlisted too) :astolfo_cry: -

Again there is more to the #fediverse than Mastodon. So I encourage people who are spinning up their own/new instances to check out alternatives to Mastodon. Check the #renote for all the things #Calckey can do (including Renotes which are like Retweets). And check the GitHub to see what's planned. You may find that you will have a better user experience 💅🏽.
