Renesas took more than two years to revise the silicon from the sampled rev AA to production rev BB, and that's the best fix they could come up with?

This suggests to me that they didn't have their "A team" working the problem.

Renesas released the datasheet for production rev BB of their ForgeFPGA SLG47910. They fixed the rev AA errata of not being able to use the part at Vdd=3.3V without raising Vcore to 1.5V (normally 1.2V).

The fix is that Vdd and Vddio are now specified to a maximum of 2.75V, for use at a nominal 2.5V.

Most of the potential uses I had for a super-cheap low-demsity FPGA in a tiny 3x3mm QFN are no longer viable when I would need level shifting for 3.3V I/O.

So I have written compilers and assemblers and linkers and flash programmers myself in the past. When I could no longer use the CC_RX V1 compiler and my attempt at using V2 and then V3 fell short, I came real close to embarking down that path.

As it is I am getting a real feeling that I'll be writing a QuickBooks replacement in a month here. There is no way I am going to let Intuit blackmail us into paying them monthly. It's not like their coding is any better.

I was wrong. They responded. However after providing the file image in my original post above and an explanation of what is happening their bobblehead support single line response after 2 seconds of thought says:

"I only see the assembly code. Can you provide the error message. Also, please confirm if this is code for CC-RX compiler?"

I have no patience. Get someone half intelligent on the line! People wonder why I have to do everything myself.
