Back in my teenage years, I took part in a music exchange: our orchestra went to France, and a French choir visited our area in return.
On one of those trips, I had bought an actual French-made wool beret.

In other news, I'm on the #postdoc #jobmarket for a new position starting next spring/summer. I'm broadly interested in how technology shapes social dynamics and how social dynamics in turn influence technology use and design. Most of my work so far builds on social practice theory and I use #quantitative and #qualitative research methods. My second area of interest is #autobiographicalmemory, #reflection, and #reminiscence.

Помните "Кто подставил Кролика Роджера?"? Теперь детективом работает Россомаха. Он больше не супергерой, а простой неудачник. Джессика стала живой женщиной, но выглядит и одевается совершенно так же, как и раньше.
Подставляет новая Джессика нашего Россомаху. И про это весь сериал.
Повадки в сериале остались те же, что и в мульте. Уронить на кого-то рояль? Пжалста. Стукнуть по голове, и чтобы вокруг кружились звёздочки? Не вопрос.
Фоном истории идёт левацкая повесточка. Сказки про то, что "глобальное потепление, города утонули" - вообще-то по "очень точным рассчётам" собирателей денег на домики для бездомных поросят прибрежные города США должны были утонуть в 2019, а полярные шапки в 2014, но "внезапно решили перенести", ещё лет на сорок. Для тех, кто про это помнит - это превносит нотку юмора в рассказ.
Отдельно доставляет показная ненависть к магнатам и капиталистам. Для того, чтобы направить ненависть в нужное русло - леваки по традиции врут. Звучит враньё про то, что "на Титанике спаслись только богачи" - и в этот момент знакомый с историей зритель ржет в голосину, вспоминая, что в шлюпках "пассажиров первого класса" женщины и дети (спаслось/погибло 5/1 и 140/4), а большинство мужчин остались на тонущем корабле (57/118) - а вот на "рабоче-крестьянских" палубах детей и женщин попало в шлюпки заметно меньше (спаслось/погибло 27/52 и 76/89). Этот нюанс и в фильме с Ди Каприо тоже решили "не делать так, как в документах" :)
При всём при этом сериал сделан очень качественно. Действие живенькое, прям как в боевичке. Фантастика отрисована отлично, компьютерная графика на высоком уровне. Сюжет последовательный. Ляпы есть, но куда уж без них.
IMDb: 5.90. Странно. Я бы дал немного больше. Не сильно, но выше шести. Где-то 6.5 - 6.7, где-то так.
Смотреть рекомендую. "Пиу-пиу" не будет, зато будет почти драма, и актёрская игра. Но в конце снова будет супергеройский поступок.
