I finally figured out what (positive) thing I want to say about Valve’s announcement about the new hardware.
I hope it inspires people to create new #remapping software for gamepads and other gaming devices. Interest in this area seems to have dried up since the decline of the original #SteamController, and it hasn’t really picked up again, even following the release of the #SteamDeck. While there is always room for new hardware, I don’t think we’re making the most of what we already have.

Finally I figured out how Karabiner-Elements works and now I am able to reconfigure these weird macos keyboard mappings as I like.
If you do not know, Karabiner-Elements is an open source application to remap keys and shortcuts. You can do pretty complex stuff with it.
