Interesting #historical discovery of the day: In 1962, #legislation was proposed in the #RI general assembly to strip the tax-exempt status of #colleges & #universities that forced students to pay for food their #religion prohibited them from eating or refused to schedule makeups for exams scheduled on holy days.
