2. Raised a lovely human as a sole parent.
3. Thought deeply about the magic of similitude in #systems – see https://sembl.net – and learned a lot including that (a) I’m a hopeless business-person and (b) Indigenous people have relational-thinking capacities that the rest of us need.
4. Worked for 15 years in national cultural institutions trying to make collections more accessible and usable. Came away feeling that those places are small-minded and elitist. Maybe the notion of a ‘national institution’ is oxymoronic.
5. Working for 6 years in the realm of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations gave me a sense of how it might feel to work *for* one of those corporations – so now I’m in the process of uprooting to do that. #adventure -
