Update: a laptop has been acquired! Thank you all for reaching out 💞💞
Okay...I know my followers, and I know most of my followers have like half a dozen spare laptops in a storage bin in their closet, so I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who's trying to help their friend.
"""
I need assistance in the PNW for someone who is in a care facility in Oregon and destitute after being homeless and in jail. They need a laptop shipped to them to get back online.
A used semi-recent MacBook Air with a charger would be ideal.
If you have a spare that you’re willing to ship, or if you’re willing to purchase one, confirm that it’s working, and then ship it, I will cover your costs.
"""I'll help facilitate stuff if someone wants to lend (or reasonably sell) a laptop that fits the bill. A non-OSX laptop works too, as long as it can be easily kept up by someone who isn't normally a Linux user.

I didn't have room for tags in that but please share: #madison #madisonwi #sax #saophone #altosax #vintagesax
I'm not looking to sell these guys - especially if a teacher who could put them in the hands of students who could make use of them.
(wouldn't turn down any re-homing fee offered of course).
Hand made 1950's - mid 60's altos by Beaugnier in Paris (made across the street from Selmer, sometimes by the same guys).
I just can't do alto :-/.

I found a friend for my #rat Garak! His name is Miles, and he's a father of six lovely teen #rats. I wasn't able to adopt all his kids, so I hoped one of you might be able to. They are at a pet shop in #Ireland, but the shop has long since given up on profiting off them - the owner was put off carrying rats in the future after failing to sell Miles' children for so long.

It’s coming up for 12 months since we lost our #BorderCollie Chip Dogg. A few #rescue and #rehome opportunities have come up recently and the wife and I are considering taking one on soon.
Possible options are a 4 year-old brother and sister French bulldog pair, or a young mixed breed from a Romanian rescue charity.
Will keep you posted.

Could it ever be right to kidnap a child if you knew you could give it a better life? What if it was your child?

Seeking to help #rehome these 2 young & healthy #roosters because I don't want them to be euthanized if it's avoidable. The owners can't keep roos where they live. If you're in #VictoriaBC #Saanich #Metchosin #Sooke or anywhere on South #VancouverIsland / #vanisle & can adopt one or both - please let me know asap & boost if you're in these areas to help find new homes for these wonderful #chickens
