• Spinal anaesthesia - primary technique of choice (95%)
• Adductor canal block - used routinely (85%)
• Surgical infiltration was usual (92%) + adductor canal block (77%)

A recent UK survey showed that:
• 89% favoured levobupivacaine
• > 60% of these preferred 2.5 mg/ml and a volume of 20 - 24ml
