'Gisteren waren de fascisten van nationale trots naar Emmen gekomen. Het bleken er in totaal niet meer dan 30 te zijn geweest en ze hebben voornamelijk mensen in het centrum lastig gevallen met luide muziek en hun afval.
Na hun vertrek zijn we het centrum doorgegaan en hebben we de troep die ze achterlieten weg gehaald.'

@Qybat I do not believe that at all. Yes, there are people with loud voices and lots of money who want those things. But I don't believe there are many of them.
Most people welcome refugees. Most people are grateful to be treated by folk from overseas when they're in hospital. Most people have a neighbour who isn't native born who forms an important part of their community.
It is Labour's job to lead, to say these things, to amplify the voices of welcome.

Vluchtelingen welkom! Geen mens is illegaal!
20 juni, 14 uur verzamelen op de Heuvel, Tilburg. Van daar houden we een demonstratieve optocht door de stad.
Op zaterdag 20 juni demonstreren wij. Uit solidariteit met vluchtelingen. Voor goede opvang van iedereen die asiel vraagt. Tegen de uitsluiting, agressie en haat waarmee politici, media en fascistische knokploegen bedreigen en erger.
Vluchtelingen welkom, ook in Tilburg. Het minste wat Tilburg kan doen is: opvang voor 981 asielzoeker regelen, zoals de gemeente volgens de Spreidingswet hoort te doen, in plaats van de karige 253 opvangplekken die Tilburg nu heeft. Wij protesteren ook tegen een dreigend verbod op verblijf zonder papieren. Komt dat er toch, dan dient de gemeente sowieso niet aan de uitvoering ervan mee te werken.
20 juni is door de VN uitgeroepen tot Wereldvluchtelingendag. Wij grijpen die dag aan om demonstratief duidelijk te maken wat iedere dag van het jaar geldt: Vluchtelingen welkom – Geen mens is illegaal!
Ieder solidair persoon waar vandaan ook, is welkom op deze demonstratie. Maar we hopen dat mensen deze dag vooral ook aangrijpen om in eigen woonplaats soortgelijke actie op touw te zetten of er aan deel te nemen. Laten we van 20 juni een landelijke actiedag maken!
