Just read about the recently released OmniDrive firmware. If by change anyone into Wii U reverse engineering is reading this, the project apparently is currently looking for information about how the scrambling of its disks works:

#MPF backup now worked too. Pulled the disk out. And my suspicion about the glue appear to be correct. The edges are quite sticky and when I put it onto the scanner the underside also looks a bit different now.
However the #MPF backup doesn't play in VLC, both of the MakeMKV backups work just fine though?!?!
