Encore une impression à plaque perdue. Reprise de mon brouillon réalisé il y a plusieurs semaines. 5 couleurs, encres Tsukineko et Charbonnel.
Cette technique est passionnante, à chaque impression l'illustration se dévoile, c'est vraiment réjouissant. Dans l'ordre, j'ai commencé par le jaune, puis la couleur brique, ensuite un bleu clair qui a donné le vert le plus clair, un vert plus foncé et pour finir l'encre noire.

Nouvelle gravure en réduction.
Je suis un peu déçue car j'ai passé deux couches de bleus différents afin d'apporter du volume au schlumbergera, et ça ne se voit malheureusement pas une fois sec. J'hésite à réhausser à l'aquarelle, le temps de séchage de la couche noire étant un peu long j'ai bien le temps d'y réfléchir !
Estampe à plaque perdue, 7 couches (rouge, violet, vert clair, bleu très clair qui est quasi invisible, bleu turquoise qui ne se voit pas 🙃, vert foncé et noir).

The next shelled creature prompt for #InsertAnInvert2024 is a crawler - an invertebrate which can drag itself across surfaces. I cannot resist the spectacular lined chiton (Tonicella lineata) which have amazing, varied, complex multicoloured patterned shells. 🧵1/2
