A few ways to re-use plastic or cardboard when growing plants from seed:

-cut up a vinegar bottle for winter sowing
-add drainage holes to yogurt tubs
-cut strips out of yogurt tubs to use as plant labels
-use food boxes or tea boxes to hold seed packets

Have been melting soaps and unmoulding them 🌸 It's easy and a lot of fun. I mixed in some marine clay to make it green and some pink soap colouring to make the others transparent mauve. I like bars of soap because it reduces plastic and I can make fun shapes.

Ich brauche mal wieder einen Tipp - unser Bedarf an #Tofu, #Seitan und #Tempeh usw. ist sehr hoch. Mich beschäftigt dabei der erhebliche Anfall von #Plastikmüll. Wie kann ich das reduzieren?

Vor ein paar Jahren gab es hier in #Bremen mal einen Laden da konnte man hausgemachte Produkte im Pfandglas erwerben. Leider hat sich der Anbieter nicht halten können.

Ich persönlich komme gedanklich da grade nicht weiter.
