FediSuite v1.4.1 is out.
Three new things in the Optimize tab:
- A new heatmap shows you in 15-minute steps when your posts generally perform best, regardless of the day of the week. Useful if your audience is more active by time of day than by weekday.
- The algorithm handles outliers better now. Before, a single viral post in an otherwise empty slot could end up looking like your best posting time. The heatmap now uses median instead of mean, and cells with too little data are quietly greyed out so they don't get mistaken for hotspots.
- The color scale is now Viridis. It's perceptually uniform, which means no more visual jumps where the underlying values barely differ, and it stays readable for people with red-green color blindness. Light and dark mode are still up to you.
