Sketching people on the internet. In the second image, I accidentally smeared some red paint on my sketchbook, but in a lucky spot, which kinda makes it tell a little story now. (Though if you know where the horse image came from, it's maybe an ugly story. Not my intent, but I'll put it behind a cw, anyway. )

Feline like it’s time for another #RedditGetsDrawn, this one of u/MarblesInABox with their friend’s cat.
This one moved around quite a bit on the canvas. I should have spent more time getting the features in a better place before starting the colour stage, but I think I got there in the end.

I've done endless #redditgetsdrawn, #drawme and #drawmensfw...here's my first #fedigetsdrawn , using references from @doot. I may eventually just take the original source images and make separate drawings, but I've been experimenting with doing these kinds of abstracted composites, and this was a fun #drawing experiment.

First #RedditGetsDrawn of 2023! Here’s u/Dreaming_mari with a pumpkin on her head.
This one was a departure from the usual approach. My typical underpainting technique is to just get the bare bones of structure in place; this time, I used this stage to go into shading and rendering finer details. I hope you like it.

Hiya, I hope y’all are doing ok… and if you’re not, I hope ya can be kind to yourselves.
It’s the end of a pretty long, hard day, so I thought I’d share A portrait from a while back…. I remember thinking how interesting/pretty/lovely the slightly open lips/ mouth in 3/4 view was in the reference and that was my focus… idk I really like this one I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe because I was having fun and not over thinking it.
